Getting Started
Integrating payments shouldn’t feel like performing open-heart surgery — and with SkyPay, it doesn’t.
This guide will help you set up your SkyPay account, grab your API key, and link payment providers like eSewa, Khalti, and more.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A SkyPay Merchant Account (sign up if you haven't!)
- Your API key — available from your merchant dashboard
- At least one supported payment provider setup (eSewa, Khalti, etc.)
Merchant Dashboard Access
SkyPay has separate dashboards depending on the environment:

From the dashboard, you can:
- Generate your
API KEY - Configure payment providers (e.g. eSewa, Khalti)
- Choose your preferred integration method (API / Manual / Assisted)
Finding Your API Key
You can find your API key inside the merchant dashboard:
- Log in to the dashboard
- Click on your profile dropdown
- Select API Key
- Copy that key like it’s the Wi-Fi password at a fancy café
Set Up Your Payment Providers
SkyPay allows you to offer your users multiple payment options through a single integration. To enable payment providers:
- Go to your Merchant Dashboard
- Navigate to Providers
- Add and configure supported providers like:
- eSewa
- Khalti
- or Other
- Save and you’re good to go!
Integration Modes
SkyPay supports three flexible modes of integration:
- API Mode – Fully automatic payments via API (devs love this).
- Manual Mode – P2P-style with screenshot upload & manual verification.
- Assisted Mode – API-powered, but we handle the heavy-lifting for you.
